A.P Rajaram
A.P Rajaram is currently undertaking his PHD in Theatre and Performance Studies at the School of Arts and Aesthetics, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India, on the topic “Looking for Performance: Trance and Related Body Movements in Thai Pusum and Pangani Pongal Festivals”. He is the recipient of Rajiv Gandhi Senior Research Fellowship. His published papers are "Kavadiattam: Global and local" (Danced Mosaic, 2012) and "KavadiAttam' A dance ritual practiced as a community performance" (Journal of Emerging Dance Scholarship, Vol I, 2013). His recent interests are ritual and community dance forms, and dance/dance like movements from Tamil Nadu.
A.P Rajaram est actuellement doctorant en Théâtre et études du spectacle à l’école des Arts et de l’esthétique de l’Université Jawaharlal-Nehru à New Delhi en Inde, sur le sujet Looking for Performance : Trance and Related Body Movements in Thai Pusum and Pangani Pongal Festivals, À la recherche de la performance : transe et mouvements connexes du corps dans les festivals Thai Pusum et Pangani Pongal. Il a reçu une bourse de recherche Rajiv Gandhi Senior. Il a publié : « Kavadiattam : Global and local », Kavadiattam : mondial et local (Danced Mosaic, 2012) et « KavadiAttam A dance ritual practiced as a community performance », KavadiAttam, une danse rituelle pratiquée en tant que performance communautaire (Journal of Emerging Dance Scholarship, Vol I, 2013). Ses recherches récentes portent sur les formes de danses rituelles et communautaires ainsi qu’aux rapports entre la danse et les mouvements en forme de danse du Tamil Nadu.
