Transport

A TGV (high-speed train) leaves the airport for Nantes via Angers three times a day (destination train station: Angers Saint-Laud).

• From Orly airport

The Air France bus 6, which leaves Orly-Sud and stops at Orly-Ouest, will take you to Montparnasse train station.

• From Montparnasse train station

There are nonstop trains to Angers. The journey takes one and a half hours by TGV.

To go to Montparnasse train station by metro:
- From Paris-Nord train station
Line 4 direction « Porte d’Orléans », journey’s time : about 40 minutes
- From Paris-Est train station
Line 4 direction « Porte d’Orléans », journey’s time : about 35 minutes
- From Paris-Gare de Lyon
Line 1 direction « La Défense » or line 14 direction « Saint-Lazare » then change at « Châtelet » to take the line 4 direction « Porte d’Orléans », journey’s time: about 35 minutes.

The PARIS-ANGERS journey is provided by SNCF (national company of French railways) and directly bookable on its website.

The Paris-Montparnasse/Angers TGV online ticket price varies from 35 to 60 €.
Note: Costs will depend on booking periods, i.e. the further you can book in advance the more you will save. Costs are also determined by age.

• From Nantes International Airport

Nantes international airport is located about 90 kilometres from Angers. A minibus liaison will take you to the train station where you can take the train to Angers.

Journey time: 35 minutes by TGV or about 50 minutes by TER (regional express train).
Ticket price: between 13 and 20 €

Please include about 2.40 € for pick-up charge (departure amount indicated on the meter when starting) and 1.64 € per kilometre, applicable for a one-way fare during the day from Monday to Saturday inclusive, or 2.46 € per kilometre at night (also Sunday and public holidays).

The day and night hours vary between the regions but are mostly:
-    Day 7am-7pm or 8am-8pm
-    Night 7pm-7am or 8pm-8am

Whatever the time, the bill will not be lower than 6.40 €.

Extra costs are applicable for luggage or package transportation, pick-up charge at train station, domestic animal transportation, and a 4th passenger.
